In 2011, we set our ambition in ANU by 2020 to be Australia’s national university and Australia’s finest university.
ANU by 2020 guided the development of the University and set targets for 2015 and 2020. Together we have achieved much to be proud of over the past four years.
At the halfway point to 2020, it is time to take stock of what we have achieved, and how we address the challenges that still face us in a sector marked by significant change.
Our performance, at this half way point, has been recorded in the 2014 Annual Report.
At the beginning of 2016 the leadership of ANU transitioned from Vice-Chancellor Professor Ian Young AO to Professor Brian Schmidt AC.
Brian’s vision, vitality, global stature and communication skills are going to take ANU to places it has never been before.
With exciting times ahead, work towards our 2020 goals continues to take place.
